About the archives
Preserving our shared school story.
Created in 2014, the Maroa-Forsyth School Archives preserves records, documents, photographs, and artifacts relating to the Maroa and Forsyth communities and the Maroa-Forsyth School District.
Materials date back to the late 1800s and document former pupils, staff, programs, athletics, extracurricular activities, and the one-room schoolhouses that came together to form the district.
The Maroa-Forsyth School Archives collects, documents, and preserves records and materials relating to the history of the Maroa-Forsyth School District and the Maroa community. The Archives makes these resources accessible to students, staff, alumni, families, researchers, and the public. Through digitization and online cataloging, it continues to expand access to local historical photographs, documents, and other archival materials.
There’s more to discover—browse our collections, revisit school history, and reconnect through alumni resources.
